It all started in April 2023, after what felt like forever of house hunting. Amy finally found the one (the house… not the guy). She moved in, excited to start fresh and convinced she could single-handedly conquer every DIY project HGTV ever dreamed up.

Not long after, a neighbor mentioned their son, Clint, was handy and available to help move furniture. Amy, being fiercely independent, brushed it off with, “Thanks, but I got it!”

A few days later, fate or maybe Tito the dog stepped in. While Amy was out walking Tito, she spotted Clint outside giving his truck the kind of wash you’d expect if it were about to star in a country music video. Tito, being the best wingman, trotted right over. Amy and Clint struck up a conversation about country concerts, and the spark was instant.

The next week, same time, same place. Amy and Tito walked by, and there was Clint again, scrubbing away at that already clean truck. Shortly after, Clint made his move and slid into Amy’s Facebook Messenger DMs with a concert invite. Amy said yes.

That Dierks Bentley concert turned into many more adventures… and concerts. Late nights of laughter, vacations, and countless little moments that made them realize they had stumbled into something real.

(And just to clear the record—Amy has not seen Clint hand-wash his truck since that fateful day.)

The Proposal

Fast forward to Easter Sunday 2025. What seemed like a normal Easter holiday, preparing for an egg hunt... became the sweetest surprise. Everyone knew the golden egg always held the greatest prize. (Amy’s family tradition)

This year, Clark, their soon-to-be ring bearer, was given the mission of finding the golden egg. When he proudly handed it over, Clint took it, got down on one knee, and asked Amy to marry him.

Surrounded by family and filled with happy tears, Amy said yes.

The egg held a ring, but what she truly found was her forever.
